There is nothing more beautiful than the birth of a baby except maybe the mother carrying the little package. I was more than excited to help Stephanie record this time of her life with a beautiful portrait of her and her first pregnancy. Maternity photography has taken on a new meaning here in Jacksonville especially at Shutterly Perfect. Josh showed up with an attitude (in a good way) so we thought we should show it in "HIS IMAGE" jumping in front of one of our new on the street grafetti backgrounds he set out to show his bad side! Well you know how mom's like the smiling ones so much. Josh graduates from Trinity in 2009.

Chelby Senior 2009 "AquaLux"

"Wow" That's my little girl? I imagine that will be the quote from her daddy when he sees this senior portrait! Some people are just made for the camera. I think Chelby is one of them. Recent Beach Seminar

A little while ago I taught a seminar on beach portraiture lighting & posing. Instead of the usual family of four with blond hair & khaki pants I decided to step it up a notch and provide something unusual. How about stepping back in time to the Renaissance period and shooting a woman and her horse! The first picture shows me giving instructions to our model "Jordan". Do those shorts make my butt look big? and yes I have my hat on backwards! The second portrait was shot in the studio the day before when we had Jordan's costume fitting. I just loved the emerald green against her skin. The jewelry was custom made by one of my clients at The Beaded Empress.
