2008 Award Winner Scott Beahan

I was recently honored and awarded with the 2008 Marjorie Sharp Award for Excellence in Photographic Craftsmanship in the Northeast Florida Region. The Professional Photographers Society of North Florida (PPSNF) holds two print competitions per year and the entrant with the highest accumulative point total for the year receives the award. This means that the portraits that you invest in from Shutterly Perfect Portraiture are created with a love for the art and reflect only the finest in craftsmanship. I am humbled to be in the company of some of the finest photographers in Jacksonville who have won this award in the past.

More Family Portraits

Their quiver is not yet full! Dan & Christy have another child on the way so I wish to congratulate them on their fifth. It was one of those subtle hints dropped about their portrait for next year having another subject in it. So, I'm a little slow but eventually catch on to the clue giving and figure out what they are telling me. I couldn't be happier for them they are a wonderful family and if you look closely you will see a resemblance in them all. I'm sure that number five will not disappoint. All of their children are a happy mixture of the two of them.

Another of my Favorites

OK...So if you know me by now you know I have several "Favorite" clients and this is one of them. Doesn't it look like she will do anything I ask her to do? Well that's because she will. Her mother ask if I would come to live with them and shocked I ask why? The response was "because she will do anything you ask her to" well I was floored and responded "she isn't that compliant at home?" with the answer being not at all! How could a little girl with a face like that not be a perfect little angel all of the time? I'm not sure but I have to believe it's true. I'm just glad she will do what I ask her to do, it sure make for great portraits.

A family portrait can be created for you at any time of your life that is special to you. Portraits are a great way of marking a milestone in your family's life or just recording the image of those special people you love called family. Even though we are in such a hurry being pulled here and there we should take time and make the effort to get together for a family portrait. It is something that can will be passed on for generations and records the legacy of your family.
